Emirates are now only operating the Airbus A380 800 and Boeing B777 aircraft.

Emirates work closely with Qantas and flights can be combined on certain routes utilising both airlines.  This includes domestic flights in Australia.

1 flight daily from Birmingham
0 flight daily from Newcastle
1 flight daily from Glasgow
0 flight daily from Edinburgh

 

From Dubai the following flights operate on a daily basis.  

Sydney:  2 non-stop flights.  1 of these flights then continues to Christchurch. 
Melbourne: 1 non-stop flight. 
Brisbane:   1 non-stop flight.
Perth:  1 non-stop flight. 
Auckland: 1 non-stop flight.
Christchurch:  1 flight via Sydney

Chauffeur Drive

Chauffeur Drive is a complimentary airport transfer service offered by Emirates to First and Business ticketed customers travelling on eligible Emirates and Qantas international flights. Chauffeur Drive is available from the customer’s nominated pick-up location to the airport, from the airport to the customer’s final destination, and to and from the airport when making a stopover. The allowance from Heathrow is 70 miles but this may vary at other airports and destinations. Two transfers per return flight.

Stopovers

On journeys from the UK to Australia and New Zealand on the Emirates/Qantas network stopovers are now possible in either direction in many points in Asia. As well as Dubai stops can be made in Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Jakarta, Tokyo and Shanghai.

Baggage Allowance

The following is the current baggage allowance on flights through to Australasia
Checked:

Economy Class   30 kgs
Business Class  40 kgs
First Class  50 kgs
No one bag to exceed 32 kgs
Carry on:  Economy 1 x 7 kg;     Business & First  2 x (each can weigh up to 7 kgs) 

Premium Economy

Emirates will introduce a Premium Economy seating option on selected flight routes operated by A380 aircraft from 2020.

Pre-Booked Seats

In Business Class and First Class your seats can be booked at the time of reservation.  In Economy Class once your flight has been ticketed seats can be pre-booked on some fare types.  There will be a charge to pre-book seats on Special and Saver fares.  This varies from £10 to £105 per sector depending on seat type and length of flight.
 
All seat selection is complimentary when check in opens 48 hours prior to departure.
