Qantas, The Spirit of Australia, has a well established history of operating the Kangaroo Route and is widely regarded as the world’s leading long distance airline. Qantas work closely with Emirates and flights can be combined utilising both airlines.
Qantas from London Heathrow
Qantas operate from Terminal 3 with a daily A380 flight to Sydney through Singapore. There is also a daily non-stop flight to Perth operated on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, the first and only non stop flight from the UK to Australia. This flight continues on to Melbourne and there are connections to all other cities from Perth. In cooperation with Emirates there are services to all points in Australia. Both Qantas and Emirates can be used to continue the journey to New Zealand.

Leading Australian restaurateur and award-winning chef Neil Perry, has created a five-star level of in-flight dining with fresh and healthy meal options all made to order. Create your own meal from the component menu, choose your dining time and enjoy a drink at any time. Sommelier-trained cabin crew will provide recommendations from a list of award-wining Champagnes and Australian wines to accompany your meal. Specially trained First Hosts are available at key Qantas locations around the world to ensure a smooth travel experience through an extremely personalised, individual service. The Hosts will manage your journey from the moment you make your booking to the moment you arrive at your destination.

Advance seat selection is complimentary if:
You are travelling internationally in First, Business or Premium Economy cabins.
You are a Platinum, Gold or Silver Frequent Flyer or equivalent Oneworld Frequent Flyer.
You are on the same booking and travelling with any of the above mentioned travellers.
If travelling on economy fares, seats can be pre-booked at a charge of AU$30 per flight per person (AU$180 for Exit Row)

Chauffeur Drive
Chauffeur Drive is a complimentary airport transfer service offered by Qantas to First and Business ticketed customers travelling on eligible Emirates and Qantas international flights. Chauffeur Drive is available from the customer’s nominated pick-up location to the airport, from the airport to the customer’s final destination, and to and from the airport when making a stopover. The allowance from Heathrow is 70 miles but this may vary at other airports and destinations. Two transfers per return flight.
Oneworld Alliance
Qantas is a member of the global Oneworld Alliance of leading international airlines including Cathay Pacific, British Airways, Malaysia and Qatar Airlines. The group have 15 member airlines and serve 150 countries approaching 1000 destinations. A number of special airfares are available including 2 different and quite unique Round the World (RTW) fares in the Oneworld Explorer and Global Explorer.
Domestic Network
The Qantas domestic network covers over 50 Australian destinations and is able to offer two classes of travel on the domestic routes – Business and Economy. Recently upgraded the cabins offer in-flight service features such as complimentary meals and snacks as well as audio-visual entertainment. Qantas’ Cityflyer service offers customers travelling between Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, more flights and more seats than any other airline. Some routes are operated by Jetstar, Qantas’s no-frills subsiduary, and therefore the full service will not be available.
