City Highlights Inspiration Tour – Half Day
This tour offers an unforgettable journey around the city’s dramatic highlights. It will take you to the South Coast to see the distant ranges of the South Island, and view the site of the harbour entrance, overlooked by coastal houses perched on the steep, rocky hills, which was created by a series of earthquakes long ago. Te Papa Highlights Privately Guided Tour

Wellington Cable Car
The Wellington Cable Car is one of Wellington’s oldest and most popular tourist attractions. The cars run from Lambton Quay in the heart of the central business district and, within 5 minutes, whisk you from under the corporate towers of The Terrace, past Kelburn Park and Victoria University to the top entrance of the Wellington Botanic Gardens, where there is magnificent lookout over the city and harbour – Te Whanganui-a-Tara (The Great Harbour of Tara). Other attractions near the top station include the award-winning Cable Car Museum, situated in the old Cable Car winding room, and the Carter Observatory.
Zealandia
