Western Australia’s capital, Perth is superbly positioned beside the widest stretch of the meandering Swan River about 10km from the Indian Ocean. Blessed with a glorious sunny climate, it enjoys a relaxed, easy-going lifestyle centred on the great outdoors.
In the heart of the city visitors can enjoy excellent shopping, restaurants, cafés, galleries, museums, and bars, together with the scenic splendours of the Swan River and Kings Park. Close by, the character suburbs, pristine beaches and scenic hills offer a wealth of experiences and activities.

Perth City Package 4 Nights

Day 1: Arrive Perth
On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the city.
Day 2: Half Day Perth and Fremantle Tour
This morning join a coach tour of the city’s key attractions and historical points of interest. Later, continue via Cottesloe Beach to historic Fremantle and take a wander down the main street past alfresco cafés and market stalls. You can part with the group here to spend more time in Fremantle, using public transport to make your own way back later in the day. Alternatively, stay on the coach and return to Perth passing by exclusive suburbs, the University of Western Australia, Perth Royal Yacht Club, the Old Swan Brewery, Elizabeth Quay, the Bell Tower, and the Perth Mint.
Day 3: Rottnest Island
Capture the spirit of Perth’s Island playground on this relaxing full day tour. Accompanied by a friendly, experienced host, cruise down the Swan River to Fremantle. It is then just a 25-minute open water crossing to the pristine waters, brilliant beaches, quirky wildlife and fascinating heritage of Rottnest. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the historical Rottnest Lodge before joining the island’s popular 2-hour coach tour. There is ample time to explore at leisure before your return ferry journey to Perth.
Day 4: At leisure in Perth
Today is free for you to enjoy more of this alfresco city and its beautiful surrounds.
Day 5: Depart Perth
Today you will be transferred back to the airport for your onward flight.

Perth – Margaret River – Pemberton – Albany – Perth
Day 1: Perth to Margaret River (271km)
Depart Perth and head south via Mandurah to Bunbury. Located on a spectacular peninsula, this vibrant town has a strong maritime atmosphere and is now renowned for the wild dolphins in Koombana Bay. Continue south to Busselton, home to the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, and on to Margaret River.
2 nights: Margaret River
Day 2: Margaret River Region
With a full day to explore this diverse region, take a drive along the picturesque Caves Road to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, enjoy lunch and wine tasting at some of the premium wineries, discover caves of ancient fossils, visit spectacular beaches, or take a wander through the shops and galleries in the Margaret River township.
Day 3: Margaret River to Pemberton (169km)
Travel to Pemberton, in the heart of the tall timber country, where the towering karri and jarrah forests are thought to be at their most impressive. Visit the famous Gloucester Tree, take a ride on the Pemberton Tramway, or follow one of the many walking trails in the Beedelup National Park.
Overnight: Pemberton
Day 4: Pemberton to Albany (239km)
Leaving Pemberton, travel to Walpole and then continue deeper into the forest. Make time to visit the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk, an exciting yet peaceful way to experience the magical southern forests up to 38 metres above the canopy. Continue on through the picturesque town of Denmark to Albany.

With a full day to discover the breath-taking natural beauty of this region, take a walk on Middleton Beach, visit the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial at Mt Clarence, enjoy magnificent views from Mt Melville, or drive along Frenchman Bay Road to Torndirrup National Park for some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Australia.
Day 6: Albany to Perth (413km)
Enjoy a leisurely morning before starting the journey back to Perth along the Albany Highway. Points of interest include the Porongurup wineries and The Kodja Place, which features fascinating displays of the area’s Aboriginal and pioneering heritage.

Depart Perth and head north towards Cervantes, gateway to the Nambung National Park and the mystical Pinnacles Desert. The bizarre limestone pillars which rise out of yellow quartz sand make an iconic photo opportunity and are at their best when the sun is low.

Day 2: Cervantes to Kalbarri (408km)
From Cervantes, the journey continues north through a rich diversity of attractions and natural scenery, including historic towns and wildflowers in season. Make a stop for refreshments in Geraldton, then it is just a couple more hours’ drive to Kalbarri.

With a full day to explore the natural wonders of this region, watch the pelican feeding on the foreshore, take a guided hike through the magnificent river gorges, enjoy a scenic cruise past the spectacular coastal gorges whilst looking out for marine life, or visit the Rainbow Jungle Parrot Breeding Centre.
Day 4: Kalbarri to Monkey Mia (399km)
Re-join the North West Coastal Highway and head north towards the World Heritage listed area of Shark Bay. Before reaching Denham, the region’s main service centre, stop to view the remarkable stromatolites at Hamelin Pool and the crystal-clear waters of Shell Beach, then continue to Monkey Mia.

With a full day at leisure, look out for the friendly bottlenose dolphins that swim to shore, visit the dolphin information centre, take an award-winning wildlife sailing cruise in search of dugongs and other exotic marine life, or enjoy a camel ride along the beach.
Day 6: Monkey Mia to Carnarvon (352km)
From Monkey Mia, head back to the main highway and continue north to Carnarvon, the regional hub in the Coral Coast’s north with a thriving agricultural industry. Step back in time at the museums in the heritage precinct and take a walk along the historic One Mile Jetty.
Overnight: Carnarvon
Day 7: Carnarvon to Exmouth (364km)
On the final leg of your journey north, make a stop to swim in the calm, protected waters of Coral Bay, then continue to Exmouth. Ningaloo Reef is Australia’s largest fringing coral reef and is a protected marine park. It is also one of the few reefs that can be accessed straight from the beach.

Spend the day fishing, swimming, or snorkelling, travel with a dive operator to the outer reef, or simply enjoy the beaches along this protected east-facing coastline. Being a sociable town, by night there are plenty of choices for dining out and chatting over a couple of beers.

A further day to soak up the relaxed beach lifestyle, or perhaps join a 4WD tour of the beautiful Cape Range National Park. Covering over 50,000 hectares, the park boasts breath-taking canyons, limestone ranges, an array of wildlife, and 50 km of pristine beaches.
Day 10: Exmouth to Carnarvon (364km)
Retrace your journey back to the North West Coastal Highway and continue south towards Carnarvon. Enjoy panoramic views of the town and surrounding countryside from the OTC dish or take a stroll along The Fascine where stately palms line the water way and linger to enjoy magnificent sunset views.
Overnight: Carnarvon
Day 11: Carnarvon to Geraldton (478km)
Continue south to Geraldton, a thriving coastal city framed by rolling hills and the Moresby Ranges. Take in sweeping views across Geraldton and the Indian Ocean from the HMAS Sydney Memorial on Mount Scott, or browse through the art and craft galleries, showcasing local talent and indigenous art.
Overnight: Geraldton
Day 12: Geraldton to Perth (419km)
Depart Geraldton and head south on the Brand Highway towards Perth. During the wildflower season (June to November) Badgingarra makes a convenient break in the journey. Renowned for its incredibly diverse bushland, the area becomes ablaze with the brilliant colour of wildflowers during spring.

Depart Exmouth to re-join the North West Coastal Highway. From here the journey north passes through Western Australia’s vast Pilbara region. Karratha, the youngest and fastest growing town in the Pilbara, came into being in the late 1960’s due to the tremendous growth of the iron ore industry.
Overnight: Karratha
Day 11: Karratha to Port Hedland (240km)
With a relatively short drive today, take time to enjoy the Jaburara Heritage Trail, a 3.5 km walk which highlights the district’s natural history and cultural heritage. From Karratha follow the Great Northern Highway through to Port Hedland, home of some of Australia’s largest mining industry.
Overnight: Port Hedland
Day 12: Port Hedland to Broome (609km)
Depart Port Hedland and continue along the Great Northern Highway towards Broome. Eighty Mile Beach, situated almost halfway between Port Hedland and Broome, is famous for its fishing, shell collecting and migratory shorebirds.
